I have used papermate in the past with no problems. With the papermate ver-11 that is all it has been and papermate will not respond unless you agree to pay for their services by phone which I might add is not acceptable since I am hearing impaired. I have also had the same problems with Dragon. I suggest that you find another product to use if you want support.

Terribly written software, reminds you of all the reasons people hate Windows. Constant freezing, crashing and rebooting. Look for something else. An outrage.

Finally, I will be able to locate a document quickly when I need it. I have created a folder for each person in the family for health forms, school documents, etc.

I am in the process of finally eliminating the clutter in our home office. The program is easy to install and use.

I recently obtained Paperport 11 and am very happy with the software. The folders are color coded, easily labeled and you can see at a glance what is in each one.

We have Windows XP and a HP scanner. There have had no technical issues.

The household bills are organized in monthly folders. I have seen the value of going paperless at work, now I am doing it at home.

I have used Paperport for many years and generally like the software for document management,However, potential purchasers of Paperport 11 or 12 need to know that there is a copy protection Docucom Watermark that may intermittently show up on your pdf files made with Paperport - making them unusable.This problem does not affect all users - but it is like a virus - once you have it - you cant get rid of it. At least that is my experience.There is a workaround where you make a TIFF file first and then print it to PDF - but this additional step is annoying and takes additional time.I understand that Nuance is working on a fix - but this problem has existed for several years now.When this problem is fixed I would give the product 4 stars - but for now it is crippled.CheersJohn

When I first got this product I was very excited. It loaded up with no problem and it started off working great. Now comes the bad part.it does have tendency to freeze up and run slow.but other than that, it works fine and is a good product to have.
